I was sadened to hear of Eddies passing. He was a righteous man who lived a good christian life. One of Eddies' Uncles and one of Eddies' cousins was married to two of my sisters. I feel very close to the family. My prayers and my heart go out to Vicki and the family... Sincerely, Patrick (Bubba) Crawford

Eddie will be with us forever...he was officially my first board president and such a dear friend. He will be missed and when we speak of him a smile comes to our face. We will meet again in God's time. Kathy

Not only a good friend and colleague, Eddie was a pillar in our real estate community and will truly be missed. He leaves a void that can never be filled...

To Vicki and family and Pat and family, so sorry to hear about Eddie. I was one of the fortunate one's who meet him in the first grade in Mrs. Hodges room. He and I used to walk home from school in the afternoons. He even tried to convince me his family lived in the manhole - he always had a great sense of humor. We reconnected in middle school and then really became better friends in high school. Great memories in Algebra II and forming our Armadillo Club. Some of the best memories in high school were hanging out with Betty and Buddy at their house, tacos at Jack in the Box, playing freeze out in Betty's Cadillac, going around the circle over and over, drinking Ricki's at the Pig Stand, smoking cigars, and drinking "pink things" while playing cards. Jacksonville at Neeners and Pawpaw's was also a special treat. Eddie sold his first home to Glen and I and we were so pleased that we got him started on his way in the real estate field. Through the years we may have lost contact a few times for a year or so but we always reconnected. he and Vicki helped us after Hurricane Rita when our home was do destroyed. Renting us a town house and then Vicki selling us a home. A few weeks ago in June I called Eddie again to help our son buy his first home- there was Vicki and Eddie again ready to help and advise him. I will surely miss my childhood friend and all of the great times we had. His sense of humor was his greatest asset. When I would see Eddie, I always saw him as that guy in high school, not the businessman he had become. Love you Eddie.
