I worked with Anita for many years through her association with IQA. I've missed seeing her smiling face the last couple of years...such a sweet lady.

I extend my deepest sympathy to the family of Anita. Although I have not lived in Beaumont for many years I have wonderful memories of Anita as she and Jim were special people, and good friends. Anita Savino Fournier

I met Anita while caring for James in the hospital. She was one of the sweetest and most kind people I have ever met. I will never forget her or that beautiful smile. My heart goes out to her family.

The quilt world has lost a wonderful quilter and the many quilters have lost a wonderful friend. Rest in peace dear Anita.

Anita was a true friend and supporter of quilting. As an officer, book reviewer, and head of our annual raffle quilt effort for many years, we could always count on her for service above and beyond what was needed. Anita's dedication to seeing that beautiful quilts were made for our nonprofit organization resulted in many dollars being raised to further the cause of quilting around the world! We will miss her!
