Mayor Lord, Bill and family, I was saddened to hear Sam had passed away. I can only hope you are comforted by the fact Sam leaves behind a legacy that will live on for generations. He touched so many lives and always gave of himself without regard for personal sacrifice. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

So sad to hear of Sam's passing. He was a charming, wonderful, man and a great asset to our community. May you be comforted by your many wonderful memories. I have no attribution for this quote, but it's one of my favorites: "Do not mourn that the light has gone out, but instead celebrate how brightly it burned." Sam's light burned so brightly it will be seen for years to come. Thanks for sharing him with the rest of the world.
