I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad and our growing up memories on Bruce Lane were the best! I wish kid's today had what we experienced - it was next to perfect! Your dad was a fine man and admired by so many hundreds of students he taught. We are praying for your family and deeply feel your loss. Love from all of the Pachar family

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Wadenpfuhl. I can remember my 1st day of band before school ever started where he had us blowing into mouthpieces and letting us choose instruments. He made music fun! I was blessed to be one of his "Kiddos". My thoughts and prayers are with you family.

Mr. Wadenpfuhl was my first band director, and one of the best teachers I've ever had. Now that I've taught middle-schoolers myself, I don't know how he did it! He was wonderfully gentle and never lost his patience, even when we gave him good reason. (Like the time a certain person forgot his trumpet in 7th-grade band. That's on my list of funniest things ever.)

Mr Wadenpfuhl was my daughter's first band director at Marshall. He was everything that a teacher should be: gentle, understanding, patient and unwilling to accept anything less that a student's best. He was a gentleman and a good friend.
