Dr. Chester Joseph St. Romain

Nothing but love to all of you girls in his life...He was the absolute "ultimate", as the Doctor that always knew what questions to ask and at what age to ask it, and made you always feel that there wasn't another patient to be seen but you, and that waiting room would be full...and he'd also ask about, how's your this or that, in your personal life..I still remember personal advice he gave, that had absolutely nothing to do with your doctor visit..I usually had the "family" office room with all of your pictures in there, and got the updates on, what is this girl up to and where is that one at, now..I still tell people.. "I am a Dr.St.Romain reject"..because of having to find a different Doctor when he retired..almost every visit to his office ended with..."Re-gin-a"...and she always came to give you your shot or oversee what he was doing..he was such a sweetheart..trully, a sweetheart..

My thoughts and prayers are with the family as we rejoice that now he is in company of our Heavenly Father. It was my pleasure to have know Dr. St. Romain at St. Charles Church.

You will be missed. The best Doctor I ever had.

To the St. Romain Family: I want to send condolences to you all for the loss of Dr. St. Romain. I enjoyed many, many sleepovers and visits with Mary at your home and at the beach when I was in middle school. Each time I was there, I always felt at home. Also, Dr. St. Romain was my family physician and I always had a great respect for him. He was kind and gentle and always had a smile on his face. I have thought about him often and will greatly miss him. I will keep your family in my prayers. Vicki

My Deepest Sympathy to you all. Dr St Romain was a wonderful physician I have so many memories of him, his office, nurses. He will be remembered with honor by so many. Prayers are with you all.

We are flooded with memories. Your house, the Mallett house, the Rice's house, your house.. (smiling), Peaceful Valley, the beach and Bandera. Chester was a great physician, father, mentor and American. Rest in Peace Dr. St. Romain.

To all of the St.Romain family my prayers are with everyone. Dr.St.Romain was there the day I was born and took care of me and my mom dad and brothers until he retired.It did not matter were he saw you he was going to speak to you are at least wave. He was a great person. I had the privilage to be friends with Mary and Martha.We will miss him. Dr. St.Romain may you rest in sweet peace. God grant this family peace and comfort during this time.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to each and every family member. Not only was he a stellar physician, but he was also a man of honor and integrity. I do not ever recall running into him, even in his retired years and he always knew my name. His family was his life and he was very proud of each and every one of them. Dr. St. Romain was our family Doctor growing up. He was such a kind man and truly made a trip to the Dr a nice experience. I hope that the words and memories shared with you all will comfort you during this sad time.
