I knew Gerald for quite a number of years in a professional manner and I was indeed very saddened to hear of his passing. He was well respected in his field of expertise and very well respected as a person. We worked together on several projects back in the 1980s and 1990s so I got to know him quite well. I am deeply saddened by his passing and my deep condolences to all of his family.

It is my great pleassure to have known Gerald all the years that we worked at Texaco Research. God must need something fixed up in Heaven and He called the right guy to do it.
Gerald always had a smile and a good word for everyone, treating everyone as a friend.
He will surely be missed by all.
My prayers are with his family, may God bless them and carry them through this time of sorrow.

Brad & Jill,
We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your father Jill ~ I'm sure words can't even come close to describe your sorrow and emptiness. He fought until the end and was able to celebrate his birthday with his family and now can celebrate with the angels. We are thinking of you so much and I hope you know we are praying for you, your mom and brothers during this difficult time. May peace be with you all ~
Much love,
Cory, Lisa, Jake, AJ & Boston Baker

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Gerald's family, I want to express how sorry I am to hear of his passing. I had the pleasure to know Gerald at Texaco's PARL facility for many years. He was a pleasure to be around and always had a smile and positive attitude. I cannot remember anyone saying one word about Gerald that was not positive and that speaks volumes about him. I feel very blessed to have been able to know him. I know he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Our prayers go out to the family. God bless each of you.

Evelyn,
We certainly send our condolences to you and your family. Gerald kept me laughing during most of our time in the chemo room together. I felt honored to be included with him as the "problem boys" in the back of the chemo room. Thanks to you, too, for your friendship during our time together.
