Mark was a WONDERFUL man and father and he will be missed dearly. I have so many memories of him, most of which were spent smiling and laughing and having a darn good time. I have said it before and I will say it again..he was like a ray of sunshine in everyone's life (a smart a** ray of sunshine but sunshine none the less). Heath, Brandy...i love you two and you know I am here for you always. Liz, I love you too and hang in there. Mark is gone, but never forgotten.

I can't stop thinking about past years and my first snow skiing trip, all the 4-H memories, baseball practices, horse shows, etc. I'm still in disbelief. He always gave us the best advice with confidence and of course his unique humor. He taught us all so much and ALWAYS made it fun. We are all better off for knowing him. I'm so sorry you guys......you know we love you and are here for you.

Brandy and Heath- We sure had some good times with your family: baseball, 4-H, cinnamon rolls from Hardees, you girls going to college! Just good times being neighbors. My prayers are with you: he loved you so much! Love always!

Brandy & Heath, We only knew your Dad for six short years, but he was a one and only. We have never meet anyone quite like Mark. He was a wonderful person. He would do anything for anybody. Any time he got the chance, he would say how proud he was of you two. You could see it in his eyes anytime he was around you. I can just see him in Heaven singing "Pants on the Ground". Only Marcus. He will be greatly missed. RIP Marcus!!!

Heath and Brandy, I don't even know where to start. Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am for the loss of your Dad. My heart is broken into a million pieces for the both of you. He was an exceptional man and raised two wonderful, respectful, and fine people. You two have the most precious angel above to watch over you and walk you through your journeys in life. His time came way too soon and so unexpected, but God had a better place for him. I pray that you find peace and comfort in this most difficult time. I know your Dad was very proud of both of you and for that you should both hold your heads very high. I love you both and I will never ever forget your Dad and the amazing man that he was.
