I only taught a short time at West Brook, but she always took care of me...looking out for me and making sure I had what I needed. I will always cherish her friendship. I am sorry for your loss. May God comfort you all during this time.

I worked at West Brook with Ms. Maddox and enjoyed it very much. She was very special to me. So sorry about her passing. She was a real jewel.

I was privileged and honored to have known Edna Mattox and to have shared such a warm friendship with her through our years together at West Brook High School.
She was such a wise and loving presence in my life as a young teacher, and became very special to me. West Brook was never the same after she retired. I will always treasure the "tea times", her sage advice, and her wicked sense of humor. She was truly one of the most wonderful women I have ever known.
Edna is loved and deeply missed. My husband, Shannon Copeland, and I, send our most heartfelt condolences to her loved ones.
Sincerely, Megan Cobb Copeland
