My deepest sympathies go out to Shrontz family. Carl was a great guy and always had a smile on his face.

Dr. Shrontz did my husband's neck surgery. We went to him for a "second opinion" and he made us feel so at ease about the procedure and he was so down to earth that it was a very easy decision to make. We are truly sorry for your loss and the loss of a great surgeon.

Dr. Shrontz's life was like a stone cast upon the water, his ripple reached countless number of people. His smile was a snapshot of the person he was, full of energy, enthusiasm, compassion and a zest for life. He will be missed by so many but not to be forgotten.

I sure will miss you Dr. Shrontz!!! He was an extraordinary man!! I worked with him for many years before actually becoming a patient of his a few years ago!! I know that heaven is even a better place with him there!! My prayers are with all of his family!!

He was such a great man and doctor. I fondly remember the days working with him and his wife at St. Elizabeth.
