Ms. Essie was such an awesome loving person and positive influence on me. Today I work as an Engineer for a US Federal Government agency and there is no doubt that I could have never done this without her patience and magnificent teaching skills. I am so lucky to have had her in my life.

Miss Essie was a teacher's teacher. She was always fair and respectful...the criteria students use to measure the teachers they remember most. And believe me, she is being remembered by thousands of Buccaneers.
Thoughts and prayers to your families. We are out of town, but we truly know heaven is getting a chalkboard angel.

Mrs. Espinosa was one of my favorite teachers. Her math and physics classes helped me through all the math and physics classes at A&M as a civil engineering major. I can't say I learned any of it as well as she knew it, but she did the best she could with me as a student and it was enough for me to become an engineer. She had a positive effect on me and so many others!

Words cannot express the loss to East Chambers, Winnie, and the world, with Mrs. Essie gone. She was a legend and will continue to be. What an amazing teacher and an amazing person. All good things must end but she can never be replaced. My prayers and condolences go out to everyone that feels the loss of this beautiful spirit.
