My deepest condolences

I was sorry to hear about the passing of Ike. I worked for him while I was at Park Central Nursing Home. His knowledge and kindness was very appreciated. He truly cared about the residents and staff. May God Bless his family and comfort them at this time.

Ike will be greatly missed and remembered by our Community and Region. We all hurt for the family loss.

I am so sorry for your loss and know that your brother was someone dear to you and your family. I didn't know him, but knowing the two of you, I know he was a good man and sincere as you both are. You and all your family are in my prayers for understanding and peace.

I had the pleasure of having lunch with Ike and Chris last year, listened to him talking about his dreams. He is such a genuine person. I believe he will be missed by a lot of people.

We will miss our dear neighbor. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Akbari Family,

I'm sadden by the loss of my friend, Ike. And I pray for your peace and comfort during this difficult time. As you already know, Ike was loved by many, admired by many and will be missed by all. As a past Rotary president, Ike carried a special spirit, the spirit of Rotary for doing, thinking and acting as Servant for all of Man kind. As I dwelled on words to best describe my friend from this point of view I found the following quote from The Rotarian, 1927:

"Real genuine friendship and the laws governing friendship provide the truest basis for all forms of enterprise. If Rotary can materially contribute to the developement of friendship between individuals, businesses, professions, and nations, and if the individual is willing to make friendship the basis of his job or vocation, then we have an ideal of service being applied in ways that should make all of us happy."

Let it be known, Ike made us happy.
