Sending our condolences to Ms. Stone's family. Praying God's peace that passes all understanding and His strength help y'all through this difficult time. Ms. Stone will surely be missed by all that knew her. She was an awesome teacher and such a blessing to everyone she met. I was lucky enough to see her from time to time, in the last few years @ Market Basket in Beaumont. I would remind her who I was and she always thanked me for taking the time to say hello. I'm going to miss my grocery store hugs! Yes…Heaven has truly gained an angel and I can imagine she's sporting her H-F blue & gold!

Dearest Mrs. Stone, what a wonderful, compassionate soul! We are among the fortunate to have had her not only as our teacher but to have our children learn from her as well! So many lessons and not only English ones! She truely loved each one of us and remembered us forever! We saw her not too long ago and as always, called us by name and had hugs to share! The Longhorns have lost their biggest fan but I know she will find the Blue to go with those streets of Gold!

My deepest condolences to the Stone family and may the Lord be with you all during this difficult time and keep you close.
What a wonderfully pleasant and inspiring person! I was very blessed to have known Ms. Stone during my junior high years through English but also UIL and Red Cross. She generously gave of her time and talents so that her students could flourish. Her kindness and patience will never be forgotten.
Heaven has gained a new angel!
A sincerely heartfelt "Thank You" to the family for sharing her with all the students of H-F.

Wendi, I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your grandmother and legend of Hamshire-Fannett. It has been years since junior high but how quickly I remember her sweetness and love for the Longhorns! She was a kind and loving woman.
Sincerely, Piper

What a great lady and teacher, Mrs. Stone, has left a huge place in our world to be filled. I had her as a teacher and remember her smile, humor and kindness and her riding in the VW Bug with Mrs. Valley. Mostly though I appreciate her teaching my children as well knowing they had a teacher that would be sure they were learning as well as encouraging them with a kind word! You were a blessing to many a HF student!
