Bobby, I would like to send my sympathies on the passing of your Mom. I have many fond memories of our parents at our sporting events at Marshall and Forest Park and time spent at your home. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Barry

Prayers for the family. Mrs. Stone was my teacher as she was for many others, she taught my two aunts Sherry and Vickie McEachern & was a friend of my grandmother's Pearl McEachern, who are all in heaven welcoming her with open arms.

I will greatly miss my Aunt Net. She and Uncle Robert were always such gracious host when we would go to the beach house. As children, we were really a lucky family to be able to see everyone on the special holidays, and Aunt Net's laugh will so be missed. I know it is just a passing, but we miss our loved ones here on earth thinking they are gone forever, but they are only on the other side waiting for us. There we get to spend more time together. Love you and the family with all my heart. A most special lady.

We saw Nettie & Bob at the Church of Christ at Crystal Beach when they would come down. Once in a while they'd bring Mrs. Penland. She and I were pen pals, writing off and on, and I loved when she would come and visit. I loved them both. Such glowing remarks and obvious love for Nettie from all you students and friends. I hope some of you told her in person before she died. She would be so pleased to hear all the wonderful stories and obvious love that you all felt for her. She was truly a grand lady who could pull some fun stunts. She and her beautiful smile will be missed by so many!

Mrs. Stone was such an incredible teacher. When I think of her, I see her in her blue and gold jewelry, Longhorn shirt and a smile. She always had a kind word to speak, and a patient spirit. I can still hear her laugh. So many of my fun memories from 8th grade would not have happened without Mrs. Stone. Praying for comfort for Jake, Wendy, and the rest of the Stone Family. God Bless.
