Ben was a brilliant man who enjoyed statistics, psychology, and his slug experiment from Graduate school. His eyes always lit up when he talked about these three subjects. Rest in Peace

Randy, Ruth, Tyler and Family:

I was very sad to hear the news of Ben's passing. I enjoyed working with him at Lamar. I will never forget the days leading up to when he got Mika, his whole life was about to change and he was so excited to have a puppy in his home. He would come by every few days and show me pictures from the breeder. We spent many days just talking about our dogs. It was very clear from the first time that I met him that he was both a sports lover and an animal lover. Ben will certainly be missed by many. I will be praying for you all over the days, weeks and months ahead.

Sincerely,
Sara

Benjamin was always such a nice and bright fellow. I went to school with him all the way from preschool untill we graduated high school at AHS. He was one of the smartest people I have known and I envied that about him always. I can only pray that my children will love reading as much as he did gain the knowledge through literature that he did his whole life. Heaven will learn a lot from him!

Deeply saddened to see the passing of such a bright mind. Ben and I were in the trumpet section in Jr. High and High School. Everyone that knew Ben knew that he had a lot of potential to do whatever he set his mind to. Prayers go out to his family during this time. Maybe God's peace and understanding cover all during this time.
