Shirley Ann Rutherford, 81, of Beauxart Gardens, died Sunday, December 18, 2016, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on October 18, 1935, in Port Arthur to Anastasia Boullion Henry and Ambrose Henry.

Shirley enjoyed camping at the river and family gatherings. Her faith was very important to her and she also loved taking care of her siblings.

Shirley is survived by her sister, Doris Sonnier and her husband, Lilton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Dorothy Cimino and her husband, Jay; Agnes Johnson and her husband, Ted; Thomas Isaac Henry and his wife, Clara; and Joseph Ray Henry.

A gathering of Mrs. Rutherford’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with her Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday December 21, 2016, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 22, 2016, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie, with her interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
