Allen Joseph Oliver, 80, of Buna,
died Friday, August 23, 2013. He was
born on March 14, 1933, in Crowley,
Louisiana, to Amedine Doucet
Oliver and Harrist Oliver.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn
Oliver; children, James Oliver and his wife, Teresa, of Orange; Mike Oliver of
Orange; and Linda Bell and her husband, William, of Deweyville; stepchildren,
Debra Hoose of Sour Lake, and Beckie Wilkinson and her husband, Joe, of Buna;
eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. He his preceded in death by his parents; son,
Terry Oliver; brothers, John, George, and Willie Oliver; and sister, Lena
Oliver Myers.
A gathering of Mr. Oliver’s
family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, August 25,
2013, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery
Road, Silsbee.
His graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 26, 2013, at Antioch Cemetery, Buna.
