Janice C. Johnson, 65, of
Woodville, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013.
She was born on November 5, 1947, in Newton County,
to Dorothy Walker Beard and Jack Beard.
Survivors include her husband,
Eddie Johnson; children, Teresa Johnson of Beaumont; Kenny Johnson of Houston;
and Andrew Johnson of Woodville; grandchildren, Tiffany Dodds of Lumberton;
Kayla Stout of Beaumont; Danny Frizzell and Wesley Frizzell both of Woodville;
Garrett McDaniel of Lumberton; Nicole McDaniel of Beaumont; and Bailey Johnson
of Vidor; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie LeBlanc; Avery LeBlanc Dodds; and
Trinity Dodds; mother, Dorothy Bantilias; and siblings, Ted Beard of Bridge
City; Steve Beard of Evadale; Candice Gross of Kansas; Clint Beard of
Lumberton; Anne Smith of Beaumont; Angelina Rone of Beaumont; and Tina
Bantilias of Nederland. She is preceded
in death by her father; and daughter, Debi Johnson.
A gathering of family and friends
will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 23, 2013, through
Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m.,
Monday, August 26, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Town Bluff.
