Joshua Kaleb “Mookie” Blalock,
28, of Lumberton,
died Tuesday, August 20, 2013. He was
born on May 23, 1985, in Beaumont,
to Karen Herrington Blalock and Joe Keith Blalock. Joshua was an employee of Goodyear and worked
in industrial maintenance. He was also a
member of Lumberton Masonic Lodge #1430, A.F. & A.M.
Survivors include his parents;
brothers, Jacob Klay Blalock and Judd Kolton Blalock; better half, Rachael
Taylor and her son, Trace French; and uncles, Rex Herrington and his wife,
Mary, of Buna; Billy Herrington and his wife, Zhnell, of Wharton; Tom Everage
and his wife, Vicki, of Groves; Adron Everage and his wife, Sandi, of
Conroe; David Lee Seals; and Larry Wayne Seals; and aunt, Brenda Kay Alston. He is preceded in death by his
grandparents.
A gathering of family and friends
will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 23, 2013, at
Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road,
Silsbee. His funeral service will be at
10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013, at Woodcrest United Methodist Church,
1684 Highway 96 South, Lumberton, with a Masonic graveside service to follow at Antioch Cemetery,
Buna.
