Theodore "Ted" Guidry

Theodore
Clifford Guidry, 72, of Fannett, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013, at Christus
Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on October 11, 1940, in Port
Arthur, to Clifford and Helen Guidry. Ted attended Texas A&M University for
two years. He later joined the United States Army to help support his mother
and sister and was assigned to the 18th Aviation Company.
Ted is
preceded in death by his mother, Helen Jennings Guidry. He is survived by his
loving wife, Belinda Guidry; father, Clifford A. Guidry; sons, Brent Guidry and
his wife, Jaymie; Shawn Guidry and his
wife, Christian; Steven Guidry and
Jordan Brown; daughter, Cindy Ward and her husband, Ron; sister, Linda Guidry;
and grandchildren, Jonathon, Tristen, Daniel, Theodore, Trace, Jonathan,
Hayden, Jacqobi, Jaxson, and Samantha Guidry.
A gathering of
Mr. Guidry’s family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., with his funeral
service to follow at 7:15 p.m., Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505
North 12th Street, Nederland.
A graveside
service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, at Houston National
Cemetery, 10410 Memorial Veterans Drive, Houston.
