  Mae Jeanette Littlefield Black, 84, of Vidor, died Monday, June 17, 2013.  She was born on October 4, 1928, in Morris, to Maxie Ellen Smires Littlefield and Henry Grady Littlefield.

Survivors include her sons, Stephen Harlan Black and his wife, Donna and Curtis Paul Black and his wife, Beth; grandchildren, Stephen Prentice Black and his wife, Deedra; Shaun Eric Black and his wife, Danelle; and Caleb Keith Black and his wife, Ashly; great-grandchildren, Summer Paige Black, Cade Austin Black, and Natalie Ann Black; brothers, Henry J. “H.J.” Littlefield and Billy Littlefield; and sister, Judy Maxine Littlefield.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harlan Hugh Black; and sister, Virginia Gradene.

A gathering of Mrs. Black’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Village Mills Cemetery, Village Mills.
