Annabel “Paloma” Gutierrez, 32, of Beaumont, died Sunday, June 7, 2013, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on December 1, 1981, to Virginia Barboza and Roberto Gutierrez, in Terrell, and had been a longtime resident of the Beaumont area.
Survivors include her children, Adriana Topete and Jaime Topete, both of Beaumont; mother, Virginia Barboza of Tyler; father, Roberto Gutierrez of China; sisters, Elizabeth Gutierrez of China and Perla Gutierrez Mosqueda and her husband, Jose, of Beaumont; and brother, Roberto Gutierrez, Jr. of Lumberton.
She is preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Moreno Gutierrez, Jr.
Gatherings of Ms. Gutierrez’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2013, and Friday, June 14, 2013, with a Rosary recited Friday at 6:00 p.m. at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
