Lindburgh Parsley, 81, of
Evadale, died Monday, April 29, 2013. He
was born on July 7, 1931, in Voth, to Mahaly Drake Parsley and James Jackson
Parsley. Mr. Parsley was self employed
and owned and operated a dump truck service.
He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War
and was a mason of Evadale Masonic Lodge #1366, A.F. & A.M.
Survivors include his wife,
Donetta Parsley; children, Donna Campbell and her husband, Gary, of Evadale;
James Parsley and his wife, Karen, of Sour Lake; Michael Parsley and his wife,
Alicia, of Buna; and Sheryl Harmon and her husband, Donald, of College Station;
grandchildren, Nicole Entrekin; George and Jamie Campbell; Colleen Campbell;
Kevin Parsley; Karyl-Anne Hebert and her husband, Jimmy; Ethan Harmon; and Ashlyn and Matthew Crane; great-grandchildren,
Johnathan Hebert and Jakob Hebert; and brother, Cody Parsley and his wife,
Nancy, of Sour Lake. He is preceded in
death by his parents and nine siblings.
A gathering of family and friends
will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at
Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road,
Silsbee. His funeral service will be
10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Broussard’s, with burial to follow at Antioch Cemetery, Buna.
