Marilyn Ann Solomon Wells, 72, of Lumberton, died Thursday, February 21, 2013. She was born on August 25, 1940, in Beaumont, to Bennie Nora League Solomon and Alfred Ashley Solomon.
Survivors include her husband, J.P. Wells; son, Greg Wells; daughter, Kelli Pickering and her husband, Gene, all of Lumberton; grandchildren, Ashley Pickering; Chelsea Pickering; Jacob Wells; and Jessica Wells, all of Lumberton; sister, Nora Dell Morris of Pasadena; and brother, J.A. Solomon of Waller. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harold Gene Solomon; and sons, Jason Wells and Justin Wells.
A gathering of Mrs. Wells’ family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with her memorial service at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
