Annie Dee Lloyd, 75, of Kountze, died Monday, February 11, 2013, at Pine Arbor Nursing Center, Silsbee. She was born on February 10, 1938, in Saratoga, to Beulah Laird Broom and Jack Morgan Broom. Annie grew up in Saratoga and then moved to Belton for many years before moving back to Kountze two years ago. She was a United States Air Force veteran.
Survivors include her sister, Lucille Layfield of Lumberton; daughters, Roberta Lloyd of Austin and Deana Harris of Round Rock; grandsons, Lawrence Blanchard and Morgan Blanchard, both of Saratoga, and Jared Harris of Round Rock; granddaughters, Monica Marler of Pflugerville and Moriah Saenz of Round Rock; great-granddaughter, Savannah Mae Blanchard; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, including lifelong friend, Marion Sutton of Saratoga.
A memorial service for Mrs. Lloyd will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 15, 2013, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
