Ruby Jean Flowers, 80, of Kountze, died Sunday, February 10, 2013. She was born on February 27, 1932, in Beaumont, to Odile Bouillion Foux and Arthur J. Foux, and had been a resident of Kountze since 1986.
Survivors include her husband of forty-six years, Billy R. Flowers, Sr.; children, Peggy Sue Tuller of Houston, Janet Honea of Nacogdoches, and Billy R. Flowers, Jr. and his wife, Deana, of Kountze; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and five brothers.
A gathering of Mrs. Flowers’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at China Cemetery, China.
