Thomas “Frank” McClanahan, 85, of Beaumont, died Saturday, December 15, 2012, in Beaumont. He was born on August 8, 1927, in Lexington, Tennessee, to Fannie Lee Johnson and Clyde Vinson McClanahan.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Duane McClanahan; daughters, Tara Hearne and her husband, Robert, of Little Cypress; Susan McClanahan of Beaumont; and Karen McClanahan of Beaumont; brother, Dewey McClanahan and his wife, Belvie, of Lexington, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Taryn Hearne, Eric Hearne, and Lyndsey Hearne.
A gathering of Mr. McClanahan’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
