Gloria Mae McManus

Gloria Mae McManus, 86, of Nederland, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at Medical Center, Port Arthur. She was born March 3, 2012, in Port Arthur, to Claudia and Manley Osterhoudt, and had been a lifelong resident of the area.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Varbado and her husband, Morris, of Sour Lake; grandsons, Kevin Varnado of Nederland and Keith Varnado and his wife, Shelley, of Sour Lake; great-grandsons, Ethan Varnado of Nederland and Bryce Varnado of Sour Lake; brother, Manley Glenn Osterhoudt, Jr., of Arlington; and several nieces and nephews.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, J.W. McManus.

A gathering of Mrs. McManus’ family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 10, 2012, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Interment will follow the services at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
