Lurline Wright, 82, of Evadale, died Thursday, December 6, 2012, in Beaumont. She was born on September 12, 1930, in Evadale to Edna Moss and Emmitt Harris.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie Wright; children, John Burnett of Port Arthur and Rebecca “Sissy” Clements Dunagan and her husband, Jimbo, of Nome; stepchildren, Bill Wright and his wife, Kay, of Silsbee; Clifton Wright and his wife, Nina, of Silsbee; and Don Wright and his wife, Becky, of New Braunfels; grandchildren, Tonya Brunette` and her husband, Tim, of Buna; Nicole West and her husband, Clint, of Beaumont; and Misti West of Nome; eight step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Vera Young and Levenia Phillips, both of Evadale. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Jewitt and V.J. Harris.
A gathering of Mrs. Wright’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 7, 2012, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Morse Cemetery, Buna.
