Janis McVey, 82, of Stowell, died Monday, December 3, 2012, at The Arboretum, Winnie.
She is survived by her daughters, Janella Theriot and Yvonne Jenkins and her husband, James, of Stowell; brothers, Russell Roberts of Tennessee and Ray Roberts of Kentucky; sister, Faye Lee Jones of Kentucky; grandchildren, Michelle Sanford, Crystal Marceaux, and Stacia Braun; great-grandchildren, Katelynn Pittman, Lauren Sanford, and Colton Marceaux; and a host of family and friends.
A gathering of Ms. McVey’s family and friends will be from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2012, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Her graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, at Fairview Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Winnie.
