Betty JoAnn Tinsley, 76, of Nederland, died Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Cypress Glenn, Port Arthur. She was born September 30, 1936, in Beaumont to Margie Tillman Hardy and Frank Hardy, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Betty devoted her life to her raising her children and caring for her family.
She is survived by her sons, Curtice Tinsley and his wife, Judy, Alan Tinsley and his wife, Diane, Monroe Tinsley and his wife, Sandy; and Jackie Tinsley; all of Nederland; grandchildren; Marley Tinsley, Jeremy Tinsley and his wife, Kira, Aaron Tinsley, Shannon Danner and her husband, Clint, Curtis Tinsley, Jr. and his wife, Meghan, Tori Tinsley; great grandchildren, Jordan Tinsley, Julian Tinsley, Jack Tinsley, Beau Danner, and Azlynn Tinsley; sister-in-law, Francis Winfrey; and brother-in-law, Paul Tinsley.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Tinsley; and sister, Patsy Bellow.
