Dorothy Glaze Glynisis, 75, of Palestine, died Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at Palestine Regional Medical Center. She was born June 22, 1937, in Beaumont, to Clara Rust Landis and Orval Fred Landis. Dorothy worked as a physical education teacher.
Survivors include her children, Julia Humphrey and her husband, Richard, of Abilene; Melody Glaze of Warren; and William Glaze and his wife, Tina, of Woodville; sisters, Margaret Robinson of Center; Martha Winter and her husband, Terry; and Wilma Langston and her husband, Robert, all of Kountze; brothers, Orville “Bo” Landis and his wife, Juanita; and Johnny Landis and his wife, Becky, all of Kountze; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service for Mrs. Glynisis will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 12, 2012, at Old Hardin Cemetery, Highway 326, Kountze, under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.
