Ernest Ray Robinson, 55, of Lumberton, died Saturday, September 8, 2012, in Lumberton. He was born on January 6, 1957, in Kountze, to Wilma Jean Knight and Phillip Robinson.
Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Robinson; daughters, Amy Schoolcraft and her husband, Charles, of Lumberton; Lisa Robinson and her husband, Christopher, of Kountze; and Amanda Robinson of Dallas; grandchildren, Shawn and Charity Schoolcraft, Brittany; Jayla, and Brayden Carey; Joseph and Emily Lyles, Jason and Zari Jordan; and Derrick and Darius Simmons; brothers, Kent Hardy and Charles Robinson; and sisters, Lesha Fry, Phyllis Iglesias, and Mary Jordan. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Brenda Dartez.
A gathering of Mr. Robinson’s family and friends will begin 12:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 17, 2012, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
