JoElla Ercaline Gogesch, 82, of Orange, died Thursday, August 2, 2012, at Cypress Glen Nursing and Rehabilitation, Port Arthur. She was born on August 9, 1929, in Pear Ridge, to Mable and John Phillips, and had lived in Orange for twenty-eight years.
JoElla is survived by her sons, Verlon Browning and his wife, Janice, of Bridge City; and Steve Browning of Marshall; five grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Goegesch; son, Herman Lee Browning; and daughter, Carolyn Joyce Browning.
A graveside service for Mrs. Gogesch will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 4, 2012, at Zion Hill Cemetery, Jasper, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
