Valori Marie Lane, 54, of Lumberton, died on Sunday, June 17, 2012. She was born on October 7, 1957, in Beaumont, to Annie Faye Burnett Rachford and Emmett Alvin Rachford. Valori was a dispatcher with Lamar University Police Department.
Survivors include her brother, Victor Rachford of Vidor; sisters, Thais Harrington of LaBelle, Elizabeth Rachford, and Theresa Rachford, both of Vidor.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald Lane; and sister, Melanie Rachford.
A gathering of Mrs. Lane’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.
