Paul "Slick" Accardo
February 7, 1923 - May 4, 2012

Paul “Slick” Accardo, 89, of Beaumont, died Friday, May 4, 2012, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas-Beaumont. He was born in Manning, Texas, on February 7, 1923, to Carmella Guarnere Accardo and Carlo Vincent Accardo. Paul served his country during World War II in the United States Army and later owned and operated “Spic-N-Span” Cleaners in Beaumont.  Paul was also a devoted member of St. Michael Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church.

Survivors include his son, David Accardo; sister, Josephine Giardina, both of Beaumont; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Accardo.

A Trisagion will begin at 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2012, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at St. Michael Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, 690 North 15th Street, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
