Hazel Lee Gardner, 72, of Silsbee died Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at her residence in Silsbee.

 

She had lived in the area all her life and was co-owner of Texas Fireworks Company. 

 

Hazel is survived by her husband, Benny Gardner; children, Gary Gardner and his wife, Donna, Debra Hunt and her husband, Jeff, and Joe Gardner and his wife, Jamie; grandchildren, Patricia Gordon, William Earl Callaway, Jr., Darren Garsee, Justin Gardner, Amy Gardner, Thomas Matkin, Daniel Justice, Regan Gardner, Cory Gardner, Angel Gardner, and Michael Burns; great grandchildren, Chasity Landry, Stephen Gordon, Andrew Gordon, Sierra Callaway, Savannah Callaway, William Kase Callaway, Jayden Curtice, Janie Rayann Callaway, Chealsy Garsee, Dalton Garsee, and Dylan Hunt; brothers, Jimmy Eason and his wife, Connie and Thomas Eason and his wife, Juanita; and sisters, Oma Lee Walker, Mary Ellison, Juanita Landry, Lois Jenkins and her fiancé, Earnie, Linda Lee and her husband, Michael, and Janie Jackson and her husband, Randy.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, C.J. and Pearl Eason; daughter, Diana Gardner; grandson, Raymond Joe Callaway; brothers, John Eason and C. J. Eason, Jr.; and sister, Evelyn Eason.

 

Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with burial to follow at Hardin Memorial Park, 418 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, April 19, 2012, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
