Louise Wismer, 85, of Winnie, died on April 5, 2012, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. She was born on March 17, 1927, to James and Ruby Parker.
Louise retired at the age of eight-three, after forty years with the city of Port Arthur where she worked as a Right of Way Specialist. She enjoyed gardening and loved being with her family and friends.
Louise is survived by her daughters, Jeanette Blake of Beaumont and Jynelle Daigle and her husband, Kent of Stowell; grandchildren, Justin Dees, Jesika Dees and Lyndsey Pase; brother, Buddy Parker and his wife, Ruby of Austin; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Wismer, daughter, Sharon Dees and sister, Gertrude Daniel.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive, in Winnie with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2012, at Broussard’s.
