Geraldine "Geri" Comeaux

Geraldine “Geri” Comeaux, 77, of Nederland, died Monday, March 26, 2012, at Cypress Glen Nursing Home in Port Arthur.
She was born January 23, 1935, to Rose Theriot Faulk and Zoie Faulk, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Geri was a very strong willed woman who always cherished get togethers with the family. She will be remembered as a fun loving woman who enjoyed dancing and cooking.
Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Deslatte and her husband, Jerry, and Rose Casses and her husband, Douglas, both of Port Acres, and Lisa Comeaux of Nederland; son, Farrain Comeaux of Nederland; nine grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Anzaldua and her husband, Matt of Yoakum; and brothers, Roland Faulk and Larry Faulk, both of Port Arthur.
Geri is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilbert “Neggie” Comeaux; son, Perry James Comeaux; sisters, Beverly Cantwell and Gloria Dugas Hebert; twin sister, Jeanette Brown; and brothers, Curtis Autrey Faulk, Melvin Faulk, and Herman Faulk.
A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 30, 2012, at Broussard’s, with entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
