Beverly English Deckard

Beverly English Deckard, 69, of Port Arthur, passed away March 20, 2012, at the Medical Center of Southeast, Port Arthur. She was born May 1, 1942, to Gurnice and Silton Ardoin, and was a lifelong resident of the Mid-County area. Beverly was a retired florist from Market Basket and a member of Proctor Baptist Church, Port Arthur. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, line dancing, going to estate sales and auctions, collecting glassware, blue willow, and antique jewelry.  Beverly was a loving, caring person and a good friend to many people.

She is survived by her daughters, Tanya Graves of Nederland and Lisa Die and her husband, Shawn of Port Neches; son, Donald Fredrichsen and his wife, Teresa of Plano; grandchildren, Victoria Villemez and her fiancée, Matthew Mueller, Ashley Graves Patterson and her husband, Micah of Mississippi, Bryan Willis of Port Neches, Lisa René Willis Stout of Katy, Robert Fredrichsen and Christian Fredrichsen, both of Plano; great-grandchildren, Jayden Willis, Brylie Davis and Caycee Patterson; sisters, Lelia Bourque and her husband, Robert of Opelousas, Louisiana and Sheryl Daigle of Houston.

Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Proctor Baptist Church, 4401 Jimmy Johnson Boulevard, Port Arthur, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 23, 2012, and from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Broussard’s.
