Michael "Mike" Lee Frazier
January 9, 1957 - March 15, 2012
Michael Lee Frazier 55, of LaBelle, passed away at his residence March 15, 2012, after a battle with cancer. He was born January 9, 1957, and was a lifelong resident of the Beaumont area. Mike was a 1975 graduate of Forest Park High School. The joys of his life were his children, family and friends. He also enjoyed spending much time hunting, gardening, and raising animals.
Michael is preceded in death by his father, Robert Edward Frazier Jr.
He is survived by Patricia (Penny) Smith, and their children, Katie Frazier, Jacob and Jason Greer; mother, Doris (Johnnie) Frazier; brother, Robert Edward (Buddy) Frazier III; sister, Elizabeth Frazier Accardo and her husband, Sam; nieces, Stephanie Blanchette Bittle, Mallory Blanchette Ewing and Chelsea Frazier; nephew, Chris Frazier; and many other family members.
A gathering of his family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 18, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 19, 2012, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont with a celebration of his life to follow at First Baptist Church of Fannett, 17019 Hwy 124, Fannett, under the direction of Broussard’s.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Odyssey Hospice Healthcare of Beaumont Texas, 550 Fannin, Suite 1230, Beaumont, Texas 77701 to continue their mission of giving compassionate care to those at the end of life’s journey.
Now in God’s hands, Mike will always be loved and remembered by his family and friends.
The family would especially like to thank all of the caregivers of Odyssey and his special caregiver Horace Theal who helped Mike so much in his final days.
