James "Jim" Edward Dingmon

James “Jim” Edward Dingmon, 65, of Nederland, died Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Kindred Hospital in Sugar Land. He was born on May 21, 1946, in Troy, New York to Edward and Doris Dingmon and was a resident of Nederland for the last thirty-eight years. Jim was employed as an aeronautical engineer for McDonald-Douglas aircraft in Long Beach, California for five years then worked as a mechanical engineer for DuPont Beaumont Works since 1973. He was a graduate of LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas, and was also a member of Gideon’s International.
James is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Judy Dingmon of Nederland; daughters, Dee Sanders and her husband, Jeff of Sugar Land and Danelle Gurski and her husband, Pat of Beaumont; and grandson, Joshua Dingmon of Nederland.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2012, at Calvary Baptist Church, 2515 Canal Avenue, Nederland, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
