Marianne Bennett, 67, of Beaumont, died Monday, March 5, 2012, at College Street Health Care Center, Beaumont.
A native and lifelong resident of Nederland, she was born July 19, 1944, to Loyce Gayman Bennett and James Jefferson Bennett. Ms. Bennett enjoyed her extensive doll collection.
Survivors include her sister, Marty McMahon and her husband, Bill of Cabot, Arkansas and Myra Courts of Beaumont, nephews, Brent Courts of Austin and Dwight Courts and his wife, Deanna of Beaumont; and other nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Raymond Courts.
A gathering of her family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland with her funeral service to begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 101 Block Street, Port Neches.
The family would like to extend their thanks to College Street Health Care Staff for their compassion and care during Marianne’s stay with them.
