Sidney "Pete" Gunn

Sidney “Pete” Gunn, 70, of Beaumont, died Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
He was born November 16, 1941, to June Eversol and William Gunn, and had been a lifelong resident of the Beaumont area. Sidney served in the United States Navy and was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 1806, along with the Southeast Texas Mustang Club.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Gunn of Beaumont; step-children, Linda Crump and her husband, Tom of Beaumont, Diana Burch and her husband, Brian of Orange, Vickie Babineaux of Austin, and Johnny Runnels and his wife, Dorla of McLain, Mississippi; brother, Billy Gunn and his wife, Gracie of Houston; sister, Emily Harper and her husband, Mike of Nacogdoches; eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A gathering of his family and friends will begin at 12:00 Noon with his funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 9, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
