Charles Warren Webster, 88, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at Calder Woods in Beaumont. A resident of the area since 1946, he was born on March 1, 1923, in Brenham, to Estelle Swann Webster and Charles Webster. Charles was a World War II United States Army Veteran and retired as a maintenance supervisor for Mobil Oil.
Survivors include his grandson, Michael Webster; great granddaughter, Samantha Leigh Webster, both of Enola, Pennsylvania; three sisters, Ernestine Keisler, Jean Eixmann and her husband, Otto, and Juanita Wooten; and brother, James Webster.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Myrna Webster; and son, Mickey Webster.
A gathering of his family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with his funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 25, 2012, at First Baptist Church, 900 Calder Avenue, Beaumont. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
