September 2, 1931 - February 11, 2012

Curtis Gene Dailey, 80, of Winnie died February 11, 2012, at the Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas.   A native of Galveston, he was born on September 2, 1931, to Charlie Dailey and Minnie Wilrcyx. Curtis lived most of his live in the High Island-Winnie areas. He was the owner of Dailey Medical Supply and a United States Army veteran.   Curtis is survived by son, Randy Dailey and his wife, Kim of Winnie; daughter, Monica Decuir and her husband, Mark of Hamshire; grandchildren, Levi Dailey, Josh Decuir and Adam Decuir; great grandchildren, Hayden Decuir and Jaxon Decuir; and a host of relatives and friends.  

His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, February 15, 2012, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive, in Winnie and burial to follow in High Island Cemetery. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, February 14, 2012, at Broussard’s.
