Judy Ann Marino, 69, of Sour Lake, died Thursday, February 9, 2012, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Judy was born August 8, 1942, in Beaumont to Margaret Theall Walker and Forrest P. Walker. Judy was a resident of Sour Lake where she was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She spent many years serving her church community by volunteering at several local parishes, and later worked for the Dioceses of Beaumont.
Survivors include her husband of forty-nine years, Robert Marino of Sour Lake; children, Milissa McCown and husband, Doyle of Kountze and Mitzi Burns and husband, Andy of Beaumont; sisters, Wendy Self of The Woodlands, Barbara "Totsy" Sitton of Lumberton, and Karen Bradley of Beaumont; brother, Forrest Walker, Jr. of Spring; and grandchildren, Chad McCown of Vivian, Louisiana, Courtney McCown of Buna, and Drew and Ellie Burns of Beaumont.
A Christian Vigil will be held at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2012, with a gathering of her family and friends to follow from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2012, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 225 W. Barclay, Sour Lake with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
