Patsy Tanner, 77, of Lumberton, died Friday, February 3, 2012, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont.
A native of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and resident of the Beaumont area for sixty-one years, she was born July 5, 1934, to Louessie Turney Clairday and Johnie Clairday. Patsy was a retired representative with Avon.
Survivors include her children, Donna Russell of Vidor, Ronald Tanner and his wife, Cindy and Roxanne Peterson and her husband, Frank, all of Lumberton; thirteen grandchildren, Bruce Russell, Jr., William Charles Russell, Jessica Purser, Chelsye Hernandez, Tamara Tanner, Shawn Franklin Peterson, Derek C. Peterson, Kord Hunter Peterson, Kellie Elizabeth Peterson, Logan Tanner Peterson, Holly Ann Peterson, Christina Shackelford, and Jamie Shackelford; and four great-grandchildren, Kourtland Dunn, Blake Peterson, Josh Hernandez, and Isabelle Hernandez.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Tanner; daughter, Pamela Ann Stevenson; and grandson, Danny Russell.
A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, February 5, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 6, 2012, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
