Clydell Collins Moore, 90, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. A native of Sour Lake and resident of the Beaumont area most of her life, she was born on September 27, 1921, to Colastie Brown Collins and Scott Collins. Cyldell was a bookkeeper for many years until the birth of their son, Kenneth. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and aunt.
Survivors include her husband of almost seventy years, Dennis Ray Moore; son, Kenneth Moore of Los Angeles, California; and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be 2:30 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2012, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A private graveside service will be held at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Sour Lake.
