John Dixon Perrio
May 15, 1927 - January 29, 2012

John Dixon Perrio, 84, of Beaumont, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2012, in Lufkin.  A lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was born May 15, 1927, to Agnes Sonnier Perrio and Joseph Dewey Perrio. He was a seaman for Mobil Chemical, lifelong union member and president of OCAW Local 8801. John was an avid fisherman and gardener, and will be remembered as the best cook ever!

  Survivors include his sons, Paul Perrio of Lufkin, and Mike Perrio of Nederland; daughters, Alice Gault and her husband, Allen Jr. and Theresa Perrio all of Lufkin; grandchildren, Lew Ford, Shawna Landry, Shannon Perrio, Shelby Ford, Sonya Bickley, Mike Perrio, Jr., Stephanie Ford, Kenneth Gault, Kaleb Gault and Mike Joseph Perrio; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Cooper, Jake, Jordan, Faith, Austin, Lauren, Kenneth Ray, Karston, Caiden and Dillon; and brothers, Chuck Perrio and Paul Perrio.   He joins in heaven, his parents; wife, Ethel Perrio; and daughter, Sherry Ann Perrio.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 2, 2012, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 4445 Avenue A, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine Street, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Christian Vigil will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at Broussard’s.   Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O.
