Damon Duran Ratcliff, 28, of Silsbee, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Born February 7, 1983,in Jasper to Janis Parks and Roger Ratcliff, he was a resident of Nederland for years, and a resident of Silsbee for around the past three years. Damon was employed as a processor for Coastal Welding Supply.
He is survived by his wife, Dana Ratcliff of Silsbee; son, Christian Jefferson Earl Ratcliff of Silsbee; parents, Janis and Lynn Davis of Jasper and Roger Ratcliff of Livingston; brother, Jason Ratcliff of Baytown; sister, Jessica Byerly and her husband, Josh; step brother, Dereck Davis and his wife, Taylor, all of Jasper; grandparents, Phyllis Parks of Jasper and Marie Ratcliff of Livingston numerous aunts and uncles; mother in law, Sue Flores and her husband, Guy of Port Neches; father in law, Dan Sanders and his wife, Lynn of Nederland; nieces and nephews, Zac Redd, Kenzie Ratcliff, Caleb Herrmann, Morgan Sanders, Bryson Chisolm, Dillon Sanders and Jaxsyn Byerly.
His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland, with burial to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland. A gathering of Damon’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 27, 2012, at Broussard’s.
